Reporting to the Regional Support Manager, you will be located at Villa Maria, Fortitude Valley with weekly travel to Coolamon Villa, Mullumbimby. In this role you will be delivering educational programs and initiatives to enhance employee knowledge, skills and performance within residential aged care. This is a great opportunity to use your passion for training and education in an Aged Care setting. Within this role you'll be responsible for:
Coordinating and delivering the induction and onboarding program to newly hired employeesDelivering education and training to all Residential Aged Care employees within the home to meet role expectations and ensure compliance across all Aged Care Quality StandardsConducting an education and training needs analysis and developing a learning plan to address identified gapsWorking closely with a variety of stakeholdersTo be successful in this role you'll need A heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyCompletion of Adult Training Education - Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similarDemonstrated experience in delivering education and training programsSolid experience conducting Training Needs Analysis and converting to a learning planThorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality StandardsDemonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processesClinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues – not essentialAble to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary teamAbility to travel including current driver's licenseWillingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearanceWhat we can offer you Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax6 extra leave days per year!Fitness Passport discounted gym benefitsPaid Parental leaveLong Service leave after 5 yearsA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
