Aus Health Work, a division of The Aus Health Hospital Research Fund (Aus Health), has been a national workplace safety and wellbeing leader since 1985 and specializes in providing drug and alcohol testing services.
We are currently seeking to expand our Technician network to work with Aus Health clients based in the Broome region.
Our clients engage Aus Health to conduct workplace testing for the presence of drugs and alcohol through planned testing events as well as unplanned testing, following work incidents.
As one of our valued Technicians, your work will involve: Performing workplace drugs of abuse testing for breath alcohol, oral fluid, urine and/or hair.
Maintaining the chain of custody of specimens and accurate records of all on-site visits.
Organizing the transportation of specimens to laboratories after collection as required.
As a casual specimen Technician, your working hours will fluctuate in line with our client needs and as such, there is no guarantee of regular and consistent hours.
You will need to be generally available 24/7 due to the nature of our work – this includes being available at short notice for incident response.
Possession of a smartphone, current driver's license and reliable vehicle is essential.
Whilst not mandatory for all clients, a high number of our clients require staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
Evidence will be required of this for specific clients.
