We are seeking a dedicated Workplace Drug and Alcohol Specimen Collector to join a dynamic team in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is a casual position with flexible 24/7 hours due to the dynamic nature of work. Key responsibilities:
• Conducting workplace testing for drugs of abuse, including breath alcohol, oral fluid, urine, and/or hair
• Ensuring the secure chain of custody for specimens and maintaining accurate records of all on-site visits
• Coordinating the transportation of collected specimens to laboratories as needed
Key qualifications and requirements:
• General availability 24/7, including short notice availability for incident response
• Possession of a smartphone, current driver's license, and a reliable vehicle
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (evidence may be required)
• Be legally entitled to live and work in Australia
• While not mandatory, experience and training in the health sector, handling biological specimens, and/or workplace safety will be highly regarded
