JOB DESCRIPTIONWood is seeking expressions of interest from Workpack Preparers (Mechanical/ Piping) with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is anticipated to be a permanent role to support one of our key clients in the region with a start date in the 1st quarter of 2025.Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.RESPONSIBILITIESReporting to the Construction & Commissioning Manager, you will have prior commissioning experience within an EPCM engineering environment with both onshore and offshore scope of works.Your responsibilities will be:Prepare all necessary documentation for work packs, including job scopes, technical specifications, drawings, risk assessments, and safety procedures.Review and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all documents included in the work packs, adhering to industry regulations and company standards.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to collect relevant information and confirm that work packs meet operational requirements and timelines.Assist in project scheduling by preparing work packs in accordance with project timelines, ensuring timely distribution to relevant teams.Ensure all work packs include the necessary safety and compliance documentation, promoting a culture of safety within the organization.Provide support and training to junior staff and team members regarding work pack preparation processes and best practices.At Wood, you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognized industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities.QUALIFICATIONSYou will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia.
