Wood is seeking expressions of interest from Workpack Preparers (E&I) with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory.
This is anticipated to be a permanent role to support of one of our key clients in the region with start date 1st quarter 2025.
Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.
Wood is seeking expressions of interest from Workpack Preparers (E&I) with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia.

What will set you apart will be you are currently based in Darwin / willing to relocate to Darwin.
Ideally you will be suitably qualified Electrical & Instrumentation engineer` from a recognized institution or tertiary qualification will also be considered along with 5+ years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Australia working within multidiscipline fields.
In addition, you will have: A demonstrated commitment to safety Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal Previous experience in a role of commissioning engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organize and manage large project scopes Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs Ability to maintain composure under pressure, while delivering within a challenging and complex environment A "solutions mindset" embracing innovation and an agile approach to project delivery and team leadership It takes an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds to unlock solutions to tomorrows most critical challenges.
