UGL have a short term opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Workpack Engineer to join our Perth based team.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of successful development and maintenance of Mechanical Workpacks for an LNG facility.
Reporting to the Delivery Manager you will be responsible for: Adhere to compliance of all Work Packs to the approved procedures, inclusive of all associated documentationMaintenance of the project Work Pack numbering conventionDevelopment and upload of Work Pack documents into the projects scope and document management systemsGenerate and maintain the Work Pack documents in the projects control systems and develop content as requiredLiaise with Client/Site teams to resolve SQs and expedite reviewsManage and communicate changes to Work Packs using the approved proceduresCommunicate the Work Pack requirements to Lead Workpack Engineer and Project EngineerParticipate in Work pack development reviews and furnish documentation to support these reviewsReport the progress of Work Pack development using the project control systemsSkills and Experience: Engineering or trade qualification relevant to Coatings, Insulation, Mechanical or Electrical and Instrumentation disciplinesDemonstrated industry experienceDemonstrated experience in development and management of Work Pack / Job Card deliverySound knowledge of industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the sites engineering activities.Leading edge knowledge and expertise of construction practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the project engineering activities.Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is preferred.Relevant experience in an industrial services organisation facilitating engineering controls.Reliable, dependable, responsible, flexible, an excellent communicator, strong leadership and seasoned people management skills.Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.Seasoned communication & coordination skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team.What we offer: Attractive rates on offerOngoing casual positions working on various projectsA chance to join one of the world's leading international contractorsWhat makes you right for UGL: Genuine concern for safetyCapacity to flourish in a high-performance environmentAn innovative mindset and a willingness to challenge the normAbout us: UGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within, rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
