About the programThe Supporting Adolescent Boys Trial (SABT) is a new program that will work alongside our established Step Up team to provide therapeutic individual support to young men and adolescent boys aged 12 to 18 to assist in their recovery and healing from an experience of family and domestic violence.
We will help participants to avoid choosing to use family, domestic and sexual violence (FDSV) and build the evidence base on effective support service approaches to supporting young men and boys exposed to FDSV.
About the roleSABT Practitioners will provide individual counselling and therapeutic support to eligible young men and boys aged 12 to 18 years using a flexible service delivery method to engage program participants at their preferred location including both field engagement activities and therapeutic counselling.
The role is Part Time (0.9FTE) and located in Launceston.
Home Base offers flexibility with start date and work arrangements.
