About Us:
Adventist Senior Living is a ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (Northern NSW conference) seeking to enhance the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional wellbeing of older Australians through Christ-centred care. The organisation has three service offerings: residential aged care, home care, and independent living, supported by a centralised corporate team across the Lake Macquarie region and Northern NSW.
A key member of the People and Culture team, the role reports to and works closely with the General Manager People & Culture and contributes to the success of the People & Culture team's business objectives. The team provides centralised services and support, including workforce design and planning, talent management, workplace health safety and wellbeing, volunteer co-ordination, employee relations, engagement support, and compliance.

The Role:
Coordinate the delivery and administration of comprehensive workforce learning and development services for Adventist Senior Living employees. Your efforts will deliver exceptional customer experiences and play a critical role in meeting legislative, corporate, and business units' commercial and competency objectives within a rapidly evolving legislative framework and skills landscape.
By contributing to the development of a dynamic, agile, inclusive, competent, and safe workforce, this role significantly enhances the overall success of Adventist Senior Living.
This role champions talent pipelines, learning agility, and curiosity, the strategy, implementation, and co-ordination of skill assessments, training delivery, and development activities to ensure our business is well prepared for present and future needs.

Who You Are:
You are a motivated and experienced Workforce Training and Development Co-ordinator with strong leadership qualities and an ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Your working style is collaborative, and you are pro-active and self-motivated.
Through your work, you demonstrate your abilities as a strategic thinker able to analyse and problem solve combined with being a strong communicator of information, presenting, and facilitating. You also have a knack for thriving in dynamic environments and delivering results under pressure.
Essentials for this role:
Relevant qualifications in learning and development, human resources, or equivalent qualifications/experience. Skilled communication including clear verbal reporting and a high standard of written reporting. Experience in contributing to workforce development and capability. Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating engaging and effective learning programs for a variety of audiences and modalities, preferably within Aged Care or Community Care settings and exposure to government support resources. Strong knowledge of learning theories, instructional design principles, and evaluation methods. Ability to create a professional development framework that will assist in the attraction and retention of employees across the organisation. Demonstrated ability to use software applications including Learning and Client management systems, Microsoft Office Suite to a high standard. Current driver's License. Willingness to:
Obtain an NDIS Workers Screen Check. Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment. Employment with Adventist Senior Living is subject to a satisfactory medical assessment, vaccination history, and background checks, including reference checks and NDIS working with vulnerable people checks.
