Workforce Support Officer - Casual role Location: Burwood or Newcastle 4 weeks of full-time training.
Work from home option once fully trained About the role A great opportunity to support our national workforce team by providing rostering operations support on a casual basis.
The key responsibilities of the role include: Establish and publish operational rosters for every service ensuring to align with customer, award, operational and financial needs and parameters Actioning of leave and replacements Actioning temporary shift changes in line with award rules, operational needs, budgets and financial targets Filling of vacant shifts, including engagement with agency in line with operational needs and financial targets Responding to queries and requests via phone and email in relation to rosters in line with agreed service levels Supporting the identification of roster gaps and challenges Contributing to and supporting the continuous improvement of the organisation's culture, policy, teams, processes, systems, training and ways of working About You Along with excellent attention to detail, strong planning and organisational skills and ability to work under pressure, the successful candidate will have: Experience in the management of rostering and resourcing in 24/7 operations Ability to understand and apply Awards and Enterprise Agreements Intermediate user computer application in MS Office Sound knowledge and experience in business systems, especially Emplive, Whispir & Genesys (desirable) Ability to identify and report on issues/trends in relation to rostering and problem solve Ability to manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities and the ability to work under pressure Ability to multitask through active listening and excellent record keeping Ability to de-escalate a difficult call and influence outcomes whilst staying resilient Proven ability to work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver balanced outcomes across customer, financial and workforce perspectives Industry experience (desirable) About Us We're people who care.
