As a Workforce Project Manager, you'll lead workforce analysis and optimisation to ensure alignment with the National Defence Strategy. This role is instrumental in ensuring an agile and operationally effective workforce that's positioned to support Australia's defence capability requirements.
In this role, you will:

Conduct workforce analysis to ensure future capability needs are met.
Lead development of job design and workforce planning aligned with Defence and government strategy.
Produce detailed workforce artefacts, including skills analysis, organisational structures, and training assessments.
Collaborate with key Defence stakeholders to shape and endorse capability-driven workforce models.
Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership, highlighting workforce readiness, progress, and gaps.

A real endeavour, driven by you
Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are a few essentials you need to bring:

Proven experience in workforce design, HR analysis, or capability development within Defence or government sectors.
Functional knowledge of Defence legislation, policies, and the Defence Capability Life Cycle.
Familiarity with Army Employment Category Management and capability planning.
A current NV1 security clearance or higher.
