As a Workforce Planning Operations Supervisor on a rotating roster basis, you will be responsible for managing the pre-planning process for all Australian Airports, ensuring we have fatigue, safety, operational, and customer plans in place alongside leading the team for pre-day of operation.
The Workforce Planning Operations Supervisor will coordinate the response to disruptions affecting airport operations and formulate resolutions to resourcing challenges for airport personnel.
Critical to the success of this role will be to ensure high-level stakeholder engagement and effective business partnering and liaise with key stakeholders on matters of operational significance, identifying, addressing, and escalating issues associated with current day operations where appropriate.
You'll have – Strong background within Workforce Planning including day of operations pre-planning and allocatingDemonstrated experience managing large teams and their performanceStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organisationSolid experience working in an operational environment, with experience in disruption managementAbility to make operational sound resource decisions leading up to and including day of operations and possess a strong planning and problem-solving skillsetProactive approach, innovative and lateral thinkerStrong organisational skills and ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlinesA hunger to achieve and be self-motivated with the ability to drive continuous improvementProficiency using GroundStar planning and rostering systems (desirable)Advanced numeracy skills – ability to analyse, interpret and present numerical data for business insightProactive and open approach to learning and change and ability to look for opportunities that bring value to the organisationAdvanced system skills including MS Excel and Rostering SoftwareWhy Qantas?
