Anglicare Southern Queensland are currently seeking to hire a Full Time Permanent Workforce Planning Lead to be based out of our corporate office in Fortitude Valley.
In this role you will lead the development and implementation of rostering best practices, ensuring continuous productivity improvement and labour cost optimisation within Anglicare. The Workforce Planning Lead will oversee the management of a standard platform to enable visibility and proactive management of labour cost and performance, while driving initiatives for workforce optimisation and excellence.
Your role in supporting Anglicare will include:
Lead the transition to a centralised rostering model, ensuring consistency and efficiency in rostering practices across Anglicare.Develop and disseminate comprehensive rostering guidelines and procedures to ensure uniform adherence.Oversee the complete rostering process, including scenario and capacity planning, shift management, leave management, and staff allocation, while optimising staffing levels.Utilise new roster software (Optima) and tools to streamline the rostering process and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.Monitor staff allocation based on resident/client care needs, minimising idle time, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels during peak demand.Develop and maintain capacity plans for operational teams, including FTE, productivity measures, and forecasted staffing changes.Guide Anglicare in leveraging benefits from a new RTA system, implementing strong governance processes within the rostering function.Support management in identifying business challenges, offering informed advice based on data analysis, and influencing policy, process, or programmatic changes.Lead and manage a team of rostering officers, fostering a client-centric approach and ensuring consistency in rostering practices.
What you will bring to the role
Demonstrated experience in leading a workforce planning and centralised rostering function that supports a multi-site and geographically dispersed workforce.Deep understanding of the end-to-end rostering process including employee contractual and industrial requirements.Experience deploying and operating and leading RTA solutions.Business analysis, process mapping and improvement methodology.Strong numerical and analystical skills in workforce planning including advanced MS Excel and other planning tools.Demonstrated project and change management capability.High level of interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong and credible internal and external connections and ensure a customer focus at all times.
