Workforce Planning & Development Manager Workforce Planning & Development Manager ABOUT THE ROLE   We have an exciting new opportunity for a Workforce Planning & Development Manager to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, responsible for the planning, leadership,  development  and effectiveness of our event delivery workforce.   
We believe people are the key to our growth and success.  Our People & Culture team – particularly the Workforce Planning & Development Manager – plays a critical role in the development and execution of strategies  that  optimise resource allocation, enhance operational efficiency, and  the performance and capability of our event workforce to deliver world class outcomes for events on our precinct .   
To do this well, you will be  a strategic and collaborative leader who brings  value and  expertise in large scale workforce planning and operations. Additionally, your strength of knowledge in employee and industrial relations frameworks such as enterprise bargaining agreements, awards, workplace policies and frameworks will set you up for success in this role. 
Here are some of the game-changing things  you'll  have the opportunity to be involved in:
Event Delivery Workforce Performance, Development & Effectiveness With the support of the Workforce Operations team, provide leadership and whole of workforce development for the Event Workforce (~800 casual employees) in collaboration with organisational leaders (venue,  events  and precinct operations teams) to ensure that the Event Workforce are aligned,  engaged  and delivering to world class standards. In partnership with the Organisational Capability team, develop and implement a fit-for-purpose performance and capability framework for the Event Workforce Strategic & Operations Workforce Planning Lead the development and implementation of the workforce planning strategy for M&OP's event workforce, which is aligned to M&OP strategic plan and business  objectives . Oversee the scheduling processes for the event workforce ensuring our recently transformed technology solution delivers our needs and  is  embedded successfully in  day to day  processes . People Experience Strategy Contribute to the design and implementation  of  a best-in-class People Experience Strategy that focusses on attraction and retention of a world class team .
