We are seeking a Workforce Insights Senior Analyst to join Human Resources, Administrative Division.
The Workforce Insights team is responsible for the delivery of a variety of high-profile reports and analysis pieces, including annual workforce reports, benchmarks, and other reports to various higher education bodies. The Workforce Insights Senior Analyst is integral to the delivery of these pieces, in addition to interdepartmental project pieces, ad-hoc data requests, and reporting process improvement.

What you need to succeed Education, training and/or experience equivalent to the completion of postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in the data and analytics discipline and extensive relevant experience.Demonstrated ability to conceptualise, develop and translate complex business issues into creative workable solutions that convert analytics into data products.Highly developed data literacy and data management skills with demonstrated proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, data warehousing best practices, and analytics testing to ensure optimum performance levels.Demonstrated advanced technical skills, including an essential requirement to have enhanced proficiency in SQL and report writing, BI reporting tools such as Business Objects, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.High-level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tell stories with data, quickly establish rapport and manage collaborative working relationships, engage with diverse, often high-profile, client groups and work effectively in a high-performance team to achieve business outcomes.Ability to effectively manage competing priorities from various stakeholders and reprioritise tasks and projects as required.Life at QUT We're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
