In this role you will undertake data interrogation and analysis of large and complex datasets; and assist to build and deploy a modern reporting solution.
In this role you will work with large and/or complex data sets and data files to produce a range of internal and external workforce data reporting requirements, maintain databases and dashboards and contribute to reporting enhancements including building new reports to meet operational requirements.
The team uses a range of platforms including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, PowerBI and SQL Server.
In this role you will: Work building and deploying a modern reporting solution leveraging automation and integrated dashboard reporting solutions.Complete data interrogation and analysis and produce accurate representations for internal and external stakeholders.Manage large, complex datasets from various sources, to deliver reporting for the development of workforce strategies, policies and operational plans.Maintain databases and reporting processes and contribute to their ongoing review and enhancement.Understand strategic performance indicators to select the appropriate data to provide contextual analysis of workforce trends and identify strategies to enhance workforce efficiency.Undertake data quality management activities.Deliver user-centric ad hoc reporting solutions.Contribute to project teams and manage simple projects.Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Corrective Services values, as outlined above, and in accordance with the values outlined for the public service with the Queensland Government.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
