About The Position
The Waste Technical Officer position will provide technical support to the Waste team in the daily operations of Waste Services for the City of Greater Geraldton. This will include contract administration, customer service enquiries, preparation and monitoring of financial reports and invoicing for the Waste Team. Additionally, this position is also responsible for assisting in the monitoring of minor waste contracts.
Key Accountabilities
Provide technical expertise for the administration of the on-site point of sale software and liaise with the software company as required. Ensure all waste financial reporting is reconciled, investigated, and corrected as required. This includes following up on incorrect customer transactions, refunds, and reimbursements. Develop and maintain waste services processes and procedures. Provide assistance in delivering projects in compliance with Department of Water and Environmental Regulation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
