Job Overview Waste Services currently has opportunities for an experienced Motor Vehicle Driver to operate our rear loading waste collection vehicles.
This role is a key front-line collections position and critical to the effective provision of the collections service to the community. Working as part of a team, this role performs collection duties utilizing rear loading waste collection vehicles, including:
Driving a rear loading waste collection heavy vehicle Moving bins Operating lifting equipment Loading bins and waste material into collection vehicles Operating compaction equipment As part of skills-building and succession planning, there is an opportunity to provide relief coverage across the section, including driving dual-control side loading waste collection vehicles.
