About The Role
Opportunity to join an established Australian Steel Manufacturer as Mechanical Team Leader. You will be responsible for managing the mechanical team at our new Mesh facility in
Newcastle . Key responsibilities include:
Supervising the mechanical team and providing leadership and structure
Implementing, leading, and using Lean Tools and visual standards within your worksite
Implementing strategy to ensure a proactive environment and behavior
Identifying areas of process improvement and driving these improvements throughout the team
Reviewing and improving the maintenance strategy based on plant performance and breakdowns
Analyzing mechanical data and running reports
Conducting root cause analysis and implementing actions
