You will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen quality standards are always complied with.
You will be supporting recruitment, training, and development of all kitchen crew, supporting the restaurant manager with P&L results which includes COGS, Labor, Operating Expenses and ensuring all food safety and WH&S policies and procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience in a kitchen/cooking role within a busy hospitality environment Experience leading and developing a team Good understanding of food safety concerns Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Full availability, including evenings and weekends
Tasks & Responsibilities
Develop recipes and menus Prepare and cook a range of fresh and flavorful Mexican dishes, following our recipes and standards Work closely with fellow staff to ensure a seamless flow of operations Contribute your culinary expertise to maintain the high quality and consistency of our menu Learn, adapt, and grow in a supportive environment and encourage skill development and learning
