12 month Contract, $55-$60/hr Newcastle based (Hybrid working model) Guidance Officer/Lead - APS5 & APS6 As a key member of the Service Guidance and Practice Branch, you will be responsible for developing, writing and presenting Agency content including policy, procedures, standards, factsheets, guides and other documentation outlining the range of services for participants and external stakeholders.
Critical to your success in this role will be your exceptional communication and written skills and proven experience working with policy and legislation and a good understanding of government protocols.
Key Responsibilities Developing and updating a range of guidance material and an ability to translate complex information into clear, easy to understand resources while reflecting the Agency's policy positions Develop and monitor project plans and priorities with internal and external stakeholders, while providing advice, procedural guidance and technical expertise in specific areas Collaborate with internal and external team and stakeholders to achieve program and business outcomes Update and maintain all documentation while working with process and records management requirements for CRM and project management tools Managing multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy, meeting defined timeframes and performing other duties as requested Ideally You Will Possess Exceptional writing and editing skills and an ability to confidently research, review and interpret systems, procedures, legislation and policy An ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high work standards, governance protocols and accuracy, while meeting defined timelines. Previous experience working with CRM, Confluence, JIRA and/or other project management platforms Eligibility - Must be an Australian Citizen to apply & All successful candidates will be required to consent to a National Criminal History Check
