This role provides human resource (HR) advice to employees of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) in accordance with the human resource industrial framework. The role will work with senior specialists in the Workforce Division on a 3-month rotation across the following teams:• Workplace Relations• Workforce Advisory• Recruitment and Attraction• Workforce CapabilityThis role requires the demonstrated ability to combine your lived experience as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of knowing, doing and seeing. The Workforce Advisor Health Equity reports to the Principal Advisor Workplace Relations.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
Provide industrial relations and HR advice to clients.Develop and draft appropriate Workforce documents and resources, including forms, templates and online materials, that apply to employees who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.Be familiar with contemporary government HR practices, relevant legislation, industrial instruments, policy and HR delegations.Assist with Enterprise Bargaining ballots and engagement with stakeholders.Remuneration value up to $127 235 p.a., comprising salary between $102 492 - $111 516 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5) (temporary position available for 12 months).
