Make a difference as a Workers Compensation Team Leader.

Your Role
You'll be an integral part of the CGU Workers Compensation team, managing a team of consultants within the WCRS' Rapid & Supported segments.
You will oversee the team's workflow and provide coaching to ensure exceptional customer service for our insured clients and internal and external stakeholders.
With a strong emphasis on strategic claims management and financial risk management, this role is crucial in optimising health outcomes for injured workers with complex claims, benefiting IAG, our policyholders, and key stakeholders.

Some responsibilities include: Ensure the team consistently delivers high-level claims management service, achieving financial and service performance metrics by monitoring performance through reports and workflow reviews, and providing regular feedback.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of internal and external customer service.Report on financial metrics and their impact on Business Unit profitability, with financial authority for estimates, settlements, and payments within delegated responsibilities.Foster a high-performance team culture by coaching and developing team members, providing technical assistance for complex claims, and building a supportive, safe environment that encourages teamwork.Align team operations with the claims segmentation model.About You 3+ years of WA workers' compensation experience;Experience in successfully leading, coaching and developing a team;You'll have a good understanding of workflow management;Able to effectively build and manage relationships with business partners;A record of success in managing technically complex Workers Compensation claims; andAble to build and maintain service quality and excellence to achieve financial performance and service metrics.Applications close Tuesday, 28 January 2025 at 23:59pm AEDT.
