The Workers Compensation Officer is responsible for the lodgement and management of workers compensation claims for SLHD (primarily RPAH).
This position works closely with the RPAH Recovery@Work Service Manager, RPAH Recovery@Work Coordinators, SLHD Workers Compensation Claims Manager and other Workers Compensation Managers to support injury management and improve workers compensation claims outcome.
This position liaises with and responds to queries from workers, managers, Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) claims service provider (EML), solicitors, investigators, doctors and treatment providers.
This position is also responsible for maintaining information systems required for efficient workers compensation claims management.
