We are looking for lawyers with 3 years plus workers' compensation experience to join our fast growing team.The Chatswood Compensation team delivers compensation services across the full spectrum of compensation law that includes workers compensation, motor vehicle accident, public liability and medical negligence claims.Key Responsibilities:Handling cases independently under supervisionConducting client conferences and providing adviceRequesting reviews and preparing matters for hearingAttending PIC telephone conferences and conciliations/arbitrationsMaintaining high levels of communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholdersTraining and supervising paralegals and legal assistantsAssisting senior lawyers with case preparationSkills and Experience:Bachelor of Laws or equivalent and a current NSW practising certificateMinimum 3 years + post admission experienceExceptional research, analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to understand and manage the details to deliver commercially viable, accessible and legally sound solutionsDemonstrated skills in influencing and persuading effectively always in the best interests of the client and organisationProven planning and time management skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities to meet deadlinesBi-lingual language skills highly regardedWhat We Offer:We will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible and inclusive environment with a clear focus on high quality work with a committed mentor supporting your career development.If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, then we would love to hear from you.Role TypeWe acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work.
