Job Description - Workers Compensation Coordinator (262008)

We're seeking a full-time permanent Workers Compensation Coordinator to manage the critical task of ensuring injured workers are supported with accurate, timely payments, and compliance with state-specific legislation. The role can be based out of any of our capital city offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, North Sydney or Perth.
About the role
In this role, you'll be the go-to expert in workers' compensation, managing claims, ensuring workers are paid on time and in line with entitlements, and navigating the complexities of state-based regulatory requirements. Use systems to include SolvInjury, SAP, and ServiceNow to ensure all processes, payments, and documentation are accurate and compliant.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate wages for injured workers across Australia, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet strict payroll deadlines. Liaise with numerous sites and projects nationwide to collect timesheets, verify hours worked, and ensure compliance with Suitable Duties programs. Collaborate with internal teams, including Accounts Payable, to resolve delays and prevent costly penalties. Ensure timely income protection payments and adherence to state-specific workers' compensation laws. Validate documentation and payments in line with Enterprise Agreements and legislative requirements. About you
You will have substantial experience coordinating workers compensation payments, ensuring compliance to state-based rules and legislation. A proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail who thrives on meeting deadlines and excels at stakeholder engagement.
