We are currently seeking a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator to manage placements across several disciplines and campuses. The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Coordinator coordinates all aspects of student placement management for students nationally, related to their field of study, as required for their course completion. Responsibilities include:
Coordinate WIL by organising, confirming, monitoring, and finalising student placement experiences. Providing excellent customer service to students and host organisations throughout the WIL process. Proactively identifying WIL opportunities through developing relationships with existing industry partners. Extensive liaison with academics, students, industry partners and team members. Delivering student orientation and WIL placement information sessions. Coordinate all administrative and compliance activities in relation to work integrated learning.
This role enjoys a balance of freedom and autonomy whilst being part of a motivated team with the shared passion for relationship building and achieving the best goals for student outcomes. It is essential that you can demonstrate:
Solid experience in a relevant or similar role such as; Placement Coordinator, Placement Consultant, Client Relations, Employment Consultant, Recruitment Consultant or Sales Coordinator. Results-driven professional with strong client-focused orientation, you are proactive and driven to work towards measured goals and clear outcomes for clients, students or customers. Experience in developing and maintaining positive client relationships with a consultative and professional approach to relationship building. Demonstrate excellence in administrative and customer service skills, with strong communication, time management and attention to detail.
The following would be advantageous but is not essential:
Experience in the education sector. An understanding of the WIL placement process.
