Engage with potential customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings. Attend conferences and networking events as required. Travel regularly as part of the role. Work Environment: You may work alone or in a team of salespeople. You'll usually be given sales targets and will need to manage your time well to achieve your goals. You can find work as a salesperson all around Australia. Most jobs are in cities and towns, with some in remote areas.
Qualifications: You usually don't need any qualifications to be a salesperson, but a diploma or degree in sales, marketing, communications, or commerce will provide useful skills for the role.
