What is the Role? To contribute to the continuous improvement of the School's Work Health and Safety (WHS) Program including processes and procedures to provide a safe environment for staff, students and visitors. This is a three days per week position and is a six month contract. Who will the successful applicant be? Qualifications (or equivalent experience) in work health and safety or a related field Experience in identifying, documenting, assessing and managing WHS hazards, risks and controls in an operational environment Good problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical and contextually appropriate WHS solutions Good interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively and respond respectfully Demonstrated ability to adopt a collaborative approach, foster effective working relationships, and influence and gain consensus and commitment from others Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to progress agreed deliverables within the required timeframe to the required quality A position description is available.
