The Shire has proudly achieved its WorkSafe Gold Certification, as well as its ISO 45001 Accreditation.
We understand the importance of not just talking about workplace safety.
Instead, safety is high on our Executive agenda.
We now need a WHS specialist to ensure that we maintain a safe workplace while continuing to educate, audit, collaborate and make positive workplace health and safety improvements across all Shire locations.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications or substantial experience gained in a similar role.
You will be a resourceful, agile and pro-active outcomes driven professional with effective communication skills as well as the ability to positively influence stakeholders.
Travel to other Shire towns, including overnight stays, is required.
This is a full-time role with a minimum of 80 hours per fortnight.
All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
