The Role: As the Workplace Health & Safety Supervisor, you'll lead safety initiatives, provide essential WH&S training, and ensure the organisation adheres to the highest safety standards. You'll work closely with the leadership team, employees, consultants, and the local Indigenous community to foster a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective WH&S policies and procedures. Lead WH&S audits, risk assessments, and committee meetings. Manage Workers Compensation and Return to Work programs. Ensure safety compliance, including cultural awareness and communication. Provide regular WH&S performance reports to the Executive team. What We're Looking For: Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent qualification. Proven WHS experience, ideally in remote or regional settings. Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with Indigenous communities. Experience in this area will be highly regarded. A passion for safety, risk management, and cultural inclusivity.
