One of Sydney's leading Independent Schools located in the lower North Shore has an immediate opportunity for a skilled Risk & Compliance professional to join their team.
With a focus on Work Health & Safety (WHS) & Compliance Processes.
The Role Develop, maintain and continually improve a WHS Management System consistent with the requirements of ISO 45001 and compliant with the relevant obligations under the NSW WHS Act and Regulations. Assist in the development, review and implementation of the School's Risk Management Strategy including: Prioritisation of risks. Implementation of mitigation strategies. Development of risk policies and procedures. Mentoring of key stakeholders as it pertains to WHS. Review and enhance the current compliance systems and programs to create and protect value within the School with respect to WHS. Oversee the implementation of the WHS Management System and report on the effectiveness of the system in meeting the WHS objectives. Your Background You will be a forward-thinking, passionate and aspirational leader with a genuine enthusiasm for Risk & Compliance from a strategic & operational level.
Qualifications in WHS Management or Business Administration or related discipline. Strong understanding and application of WHS and Australian risk management and compliance standards. Proven ability to develop and maintain effective workplace relationships. Demonstrated skills in managing multiple & competing priorities – with a strong attention to detail.
