Position Overview
We are currently seeking a proactive Workplace Health & Safety Advisor to join the team in Alice Springs.
In this pivotal role, you will support and guide managers and employees in fostering a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring alignment with corporate and legislative standards.
As a WHS Officer, you will be instrumental in developing WHS systems, promoting a safety-focused culture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead safety improvement initiatives to build a positive WHS culture.
Conduct evaluations and analyse WHS data to enhance workplace safety performance.
Provide guidance on operational safety, including risk assessments, hazard control, and incident investigations (e.g., ICAM, 5 Whys).
Review and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Prepare reports with insights on hazards, risk management, and WHS trends.
Deliver in-house training to elevate WHS standards and competency across the organisation.
Actively support the reduction of risks, near misses, and incidents.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Proven ability to deliver WHS services.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, contractor management, and compliance.
High-level skills in WHS management system development and implementation.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, adaptable to diverse cultural backgrounds.
Advanced analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement in WHS.
Valid NT Driver's Licence or equivalent.
Alignment with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Tertiary qualifications in OHS or a related field.
Work-based training experience or a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Benefits & Culture

Remuneration up to $145k (commensurate with experience).
Relocation Assistance available.
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
