Our Vision is of a brighter future, a prosperous and cohesive community.The OpportunityWe seek a Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer who assists Alice Springs Town Council (Council) in maintaining strong operational compliance and continuous improvement of its safety culture.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting in the implementation and delivery of the WHS management system.Data input of incidents and updating and maintaining WHS registers.Assisting managers and supervisors with relevant reviews and document control for risk assessments.Providing administrative support to Council's WHS Committee and work groups.Assisting in the implementation of risk identification and control strategies for specific activities.Undertaking worksite assessments within a WHS and risk control context in cooperation with relevant supervisors and team leaders.What will you get from joining the team?Attractive salary of $88,772.74 p/a plus district allowance — $2611 w/dependents, $1498 w/o dependents.6 weeks annual leave with additional generous leave entitlements.Closes: Jan 20, 2025, 12:00amContact: Donny James - #J-18808-Ljbffr
