Job Title: Work Health and Safety Officer

Position Type: 3 month Full Time (38 hours) Casual Temporary Contract
Pay Rate: $44 per hour + Super
Location: Perth CBD, WA 6004
Key Responsibilities:Managing the working from home register to ensure compliance and record-keeping.Conducting safety checks and developing skills in safety investigations.Updating and maintaining WHS resources on the intranet.Assisting in the review and development of WHS policies.Maintaining accurate workers' compensation records.Performing baseline ergonomic checks to support employee well-being.Essential to be successful in this role:Knowledge of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.Experience working within a WHS team.Prior Government experience.A keen interest in learning and contributing to workplace safety initiatives.Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.A proactive approach and willingness to take on new challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience or interest in policy writing and ergonomic assessment is a plus.Current valid NPC or ability to obtain.How to apply:If you meet the above requirements and would like to apply, APPLY NOW or email Taylor with any queries.
