The Work Health and Safety Officer position provides operational WHS support to Brightwater's services and administrative support to the WHS team.
This position will suit someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, creative aptitude, and excellent computer skills. Reporting to the Manager, Work Health & Safety, this role is offered on a permanent full-time basis.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification in safety and health, allied health, or related discipline (at least Certificate IV). Demonstrated experience and understanding of safety and health standards and regulations. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to liaise with diverse people in an informative, positive, and customer-focused manner. Experience in the use of safety management software (Solv Safety will be considered an advantage). Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel), with the ability to create visual reports. Strong attention to detail and the ability to input and interpret data accurately and in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve, and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and the ability to work unsupervised, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as a team member. About Brightwater
