About the JobContribute to the delivery of initiatives and programs that support Rest's strategic direction on physical and psychological wellbeing, health and safety.
Key Accountabilities / ResponsibilitiesContribute toward the delivery of initiatives and programs to support and improve the physical and mental health and wellbeing of our people.Maintain compliance with relevant Acts, Regulations and codes.Engage and collaborate with people leaders to meet legal obligations and ensure compliance.Manage the wellbeing, health and safety management framework, including implementing procedures and programs which support Rest's strategic objectives.Provide operational support for coordinating and conducting health and wellbeing audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.Provide advice and guidance to Leaders and people on health, safety and wellbeing matters and the interpretation of related Rest policies and procedures.Consult and communicate with all levels of employees.Collate, analyse, interpret, evaluate and present data regarding health and wellbeing activities for reporting and decision-making purposes.Monitor the effectiveness of wellbeing, health and safety framework and implement strategies to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness.Promote a health and wellbeing culture and advocate to embed wellbeing, health and safety principles in individual and organisational performance indicators.Stay updated with legislative changes and communicate required updates.Develop WHS reports for senior management.Qualifications About You:Certificate IV Work Health & Safety essential.Return to Work certification (desired).Required experience, understanding or credentials including:
Experience in implementing health and wellbeing activities and programs.Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and its application.Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously.Excellent presentation skills.Strong Microsoft Office skills.Additional InformationBenefits:
