This role provides high-level advice and business partnering on work health, safety and wellbeing for assigned directorates, liaising and collaborating to problem solve, analyse issues and design sustainable solutions that contribute to the overall effective development, management and delivery of a professional work health and safety culture throughout the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.An opportunity has become available for a Work Health and Safety Business Partner to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willProvide high-level advice to the Injury Prevention Manager, Gold Coast Health Work Health and Safety Management Committee, executive and senior management, managers, workers and other stakeholder groups.Operate as a dedicated resource to assigned directorates in a business partner model, ensuring advice, solutions and strategies to address areas of WHS risk or improvement.Manage, coordinate and conduct internal safety investigations to identify risks, trends and patterns.Lead in the analysis, interpretation and management of health and wellbeing occurrences.About youTo be successful in this position you will require:While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.Driver Licence.Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).BenefitsFlexible work options.Salary Packaging.Modern Facilities.Diverse Work Culture.12.75% super.17.5% leave loading.Permanent full-time.Base salary ranging from $121,360 - $129,998 per annum.About UsSafety is of the highest priority at Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
