In this position, you will:Partner with service areas to enhance safety performance and promote a strong safety culture.Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and practices that align with safety legislation.Conduct risk assessments, hazard reviews, safety audits, and incident investigations, providing actionable insights.Facilitate education and training sessions on safety and emergency response for staff and managers.Support return-to-work programs and injury management in collaboration with consultants.Monitor safety and health trends, analyse data, and identify opportunities for improvement.Lead communication initiatives and campaigns to reinforce the importance of workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert guidance on WHS best practices to managers and employees.Investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement targeted prevention strategies.Collaborate with Safety and Health Representatives and attend meetings to ensure knowledge-sharing and alignment.Prepare detailed reports, alerts, and memos on safety performance and recommendations.Assess health information of employment candidates and advise on medical review requirements.About YouTo thrive in this role, you will bring:Qualifications: Certification or degree in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in WHS advisory roles, with a strong understanding of safety legislation and compliance.
