THE POSITION Based in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide. Injury management role reporting to the National Manager – Work Health. Team of highly motivated, performance-driven Allied Health and Workers Compensation professionals. Support multiple business sectors (Offshore and Remote; Aged Care; Business and Industry; Education; Hospitals; and Defence) in the areas of injury management and pre-employment screening services. Strategic case management of workers compensation claims and fitness for work cases to drive timely return to work outcomes. Conduct pre-employment screening services. Drive positive safe deployment outcomes through the development of appropriate risk management strategies. Build strong relationships and manage service providers. Coach and mentor internal stakeholders. Facilitate system and legislative compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of nationwide initiatives and projects to reduce impact of injuries. THE PERSON Allied Health Qualification (preferably OT, Physio). 3 years minimum experience as a rehabilitation consultant, injury management advisor or similar. Sound knowledge of workers compensation, injury management and workplace rehabilitation. Outcome focused, self-motivated and proactive with a desire to make a difference. Possess good time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a strong team. Ability to learn new systems. Ability to work efficiently to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
