We're on the lookout for a passionate and self-motivated Work-Based Learning Practitioner to join our dynamic Plumbing team.
If you thrive on empowering apprentices to achieve their full potential and have a knack for bringing real-world industry experience into education, this could be your perfect role.
As a key member of our team, you'll: Assess and support learners to achieve their qualifications in line with Awarding Organisation requirements.Manage a caseload of learners, conducting Training Needs Analyses to ensure they're on the right path to final end point assessment.Facilitate engaging coaching, mentoring, and learning opportunities that help learners succeed.Deliver interactive sessions for planning practical project assessments in both one-on-one and small group workshop formats (up to 8 learners).What we're looking for as essentials: A minimum Level 3 qualification in Plumbing (or equivalent) and eligibility to join the GasSafe register.A commitment to professional development, including working towards:An Assessor qualification (TAQA)A Quality Assurance qualification (TAQA Unit 401)Digital Literacy Level 2Level 2 English and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade C (4) or above.Solid industry experience and the ability to collaborate with external industry partners.Strong digital skills, with confidence using tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.Exceptional organisational skills, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.Desirable skills and experience: Welsh language skills.Qualifications or experience in renewable technologies such as solar thermal systems, heat pumps, or rainwater harvesting systems.Why join us?
