About the role
Here at Woolworths, our Internal Audit team is unlike many others you will have come across. The complexity and size of the business provides varied and interesting day to day with exposure to a large number of stakeholders across the group. If you're an experienced Senior Auditor or Assistant Manager and want to use your financial auditing and accounting experience to deliver the finance internal audit programs and partner with all areas of the business across Woolworths Group, then this role is for you!
Core responsibilities
Support in delivering the financial controls audit program designed to assess Woolworths Group's financial controls. Support in the delivery of the Woolworths Internal Audit financial controls testing program and financial-based reviews. Be a part of the Internal Audit Group Support Services team whilst partnering with senior stakeholders on strategy development and delivery. Coordinate, drive and deliver simultaneous reviews in a timely and efficient manner, without compromising quality of delivery. Evaluate governance, risk and control frameworks across the organisation and ensure audit recommendations are balanced, sustainable and risk-based. Support others to achieve a level of engagement with the business which promotes IA as a trusted advisor. Support in the improvement of Internal Audit Department processes and tools. About You

Core requirements
A minimum of 3 years of audit experience including 'Big' 4. Extensive audit experience in designing, implementing and executing financial controls assurance programs across key financial processes and financial cycles in a complex environment similar to Woolworths. Be able to manage conflict and demonstrate resilience in challenging situations. Have an external audit and financial accounting experience and a comprehensive understanding of internal controls over key financial processes. Experience in delivering internal audit reviews (highly regarded but not essential). You're a flexible and adaptable 'self-starter' who has the ability to build rapport at all levels and is committed to consistently delivering work of an exceptional standard.
