What you'll do
Negotiate commercials with suppliers around cost of goods, promotional & marketing funding.
Manage key strategic initiatives, as well as deliver targets on sales growth, profitability, and market share.
Partner with suppliers and enjoy bringing new ideas to this high potential category.
Deliver optimum ranges via a planned review schedule, offering choice that is store tailored, reflective of the category roles, incorporates changing customer trends, and utilises focused customer insight.
What you'll bring
Previous experience as an Assistant Category Manager or Buyer within an FMCG company.
A broad skill set in increasing sales and profit through implementation of strategic program initiatives.
Analytical skills and understanding of customer insights to make informed decisions.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence with cross-functional and external stakeholders.
