About the Role: Reporting to the Digital Portfolio Excellence Lead, the Digital Business Partner is a strategic enabler within Woodside's Digital team, bridging business needs with innovative digital solutions.
This role is critical in shaping and driving high-impact initiatives up to Concept Select, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and delivering measurable value.
By collaborating with Principal Business Partners and leveraging cross-portfolio insights, the Digital Business Partner plays a pivotal role in fostering operational excellence, enabling business transformation, and supporting enterprise-wide priorities.
Duties & Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with the business to ensure Digital strategies and solutions align with business priorities and enterprise objectives.
Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for Digital to drive transformation, deliver measurable business value, and improve operational performance.
Provide thought leadership on best practices, leveraging external trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.
Ensure that all initiatives have clear business sponsorship and defined value propositions.
Business Engagement & Development: Partner with the business leaders to ensure Digital demand is prioritised and sequenced based on value and business outcomes.
Act as a trusted advisor, helping business leaders understand how Digital can enable them to achieve their objectives and solve complex challenges.
Support the business in readiness for adopting new services and realising the benefits of Digital initiatives.
Service Delivery & Operational Support: Act as the interface between Digital and business units, aligning services, demand, and supply with strategic priorities.
Work with capability owners and product teams to co-create roadmaps that enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.
Document problem statements, key requirements, and business benefit cases to support effective portfolio planning.
Ensure initiatives adhere to Digital's strategy and standards.
Skills & Experience: Skills:
Strategic Thinking: Ability to align digital initiatives with enterprise goals and identify opportunities for long-term business impact.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build trust and maintain relationships with senior leaders, influencing decision-making and driving alignment.
Problem-Solving and Analysis: Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate complex problems, define actionable recommendations, and measure outcomes.
Change Management: Experience in supporting teams through change, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment to organisational priorities.
Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Experience:
Experience in strategic advisory, consulting or business partnering roles is highly desirable.
Experience of co-developing multi-year strategic plans.
Familiarity with governance frameworks, tools, and methodologies used in managing digital portfolios.
Track record of progressing & overseeing initiatives up to Concept Select or similar strategic decision points.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field required.
