Wood is recruiting for a Senior Piping Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business based in Brisbane, Queensland. This opportunity is available on either a permanent or contract basis, with flexibility to work full-time or part-time.

Lithium Nickel / Cobalt Copper Gold Rare Earths Iron Ore Platinum Group Metals (PGMs) You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and be able to work lawfully in Australia. Ideally, you will be a suitably qualified engineer with a Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized institution and have a minimum of 7+ years of proven experience within the mining and minerals sector.
In addition, you will have:
Sound technical knowledge of piping engineering, including calculations, specifications, material and valve selection, P&ID development, and requisitioning of piping components. Good understanding of procedures and workflows related to the piping discipline. Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs. Pipe stressing capability and experience with Caesar II, AutoPIPE, and other relevant computer pipe stress software packages are desirable. What will set you apart will be your understanding of the Minerals & Metals processing sector.
