Maintenance Planner (Darwin) - Expressions of Interest Wood is seeking expressions of interest from Maintenance Planners with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory. This opportunity is anticipated to be a permanent role to support one of our key clients in the region with a start date in the 1st quarter of 2025.
Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Southeast Asia.
You will have prior maintenance planning experience within an EPCM engineering environment with both onshore and offshore scope of works.
Your responsibilities will be: Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Field Personnel to ensure efficient maintenance execution activities are met. Develop optimized maintenance plans and schedules, and communicate these to various stakeholders, delegating tasks and responsibilities as required. Support the strategic planning and scheduling process. Ensure schedules are work-ready and all required resources are readily available. Maintain and control all work order requests, and review work completion to ensure compliance. Develop and implement progress monitoring tools, reports, and dashboards. Deliver continuous improvement ideas with a focus on safety, cost, and efficiency. You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply. What will set you apart is that you are currently based in Darwin or willing to relocate to Darwin. Ideally, you will be a suitably qualified Mechanical or E&I engineer from a recognized institution, or a tertiary qualification will also be considered, along with 5+ years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Australia working within multidisciplinary fields.
In addition, you will have:
Proficiency in planning software, Primavera & MS Project. Proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems. Ability to interpret engineering standards, specifications, and drawings. Demonstrated commitment to safety. Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
