We are looking for a Principal Analyst – Australia power and renewables to join our dynamic and expanding team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading power market analysis, thought leadership, client engagement, and business development for the Australia market.

The role is ideal for an experienced professional working in the Australian power & renewables industry, preferably with experience including quantitative and financial analysis.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about understanding the big picture trends in the energy industry.
The successful candidate will be expected to have the following qualities, qualifications, and experience:
High interest and aptitude for market analysis and power modelling.
Relevant on-the-job training will be given to the selected candidate.
6+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical role in the power & renewables industry.
A good understanding of power markets and policies, technology costs (LCOE, fuel markets etc.)
and company strategies is of high value.
Enthusiasm, curiosity, willingness to expand knowledge and skills, and the ability to tackle challenging questions.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as engineering, science, economics, finance or other area.
A graduate degree is preferred but not required.
Strong Excel skills.
Relevant experience in data and database management is a major plus.
Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills.
Effective writing and presentation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in another Asian language is a plus.
