About the Position Our Women's Centre team assists in the provision of safeaccommodation and support for women and children who are or haveexperienced family and domestic violence. The Centre providesservices within the community to enhance education and tofacilitate and expand healthy relationships.
Our Women's Centre team are currently seeking a passionateCase Manager who is highly motivated and naturally customer focusedindividuals with strong interpersonal skills. The position needssomeone who has genuine interest in providing support to ourcommunity. This position is maximum term until June 2025. 
Key Responsibilities The duties of the Women's Centre Case Manager will includebut are not limited to:
Developing case management plans which are trauma informedand person centred that address the practical and emotionalneeds of our customers.Conducting the intake and induction process with newcustomers to ensure immediate risks are met, relevantdocumentation is completed (including Common Risk Assessmentand Risk Management Framework) and customers are aware of theirrights and responsibilities.Conducting safety audits for outreach customers, whichinclude recommendations for security upgrades and/or othersafety measures that would enhance the customers personalsafety.Working in consultation with all customers to provide arange of information and support options to enable customers tomake informed choices to enhance their safety and wellbeing,prevent homelessness, and increase self-determination andempowerment.Maintaining concise, accurate records of case management inaccordance with relevant management practices andprocedures.Participating in and facilitate community development andnetworking activities such as workshops, presentations, andeducation.About You The following qualifications and experience are highly desired,but if you don't tick all the boxes, you could still be aperfect fit for this role. A relevant tertiary qualification or demonstratedcompetency in a similar position.Substantial experience working in a community servicesenvironment, preferably dealing with issues affecting women andchildren in crisis.Demonstrated ability to work within a case management modelto achieve positive client outcomes and can demonstrate agiledecision making.Knowledge of domestic and family violence issues affectingboth women and children including those from culturally andlinguistically diverse and Indigenous backgroundsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in culturallydiverse environments and form positive working relationshipswith individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.For further information, please refer to the positiondescription.
