Wellington Health Service is a 12-bed sub-acute facility and includes a 24-hour Emergency Department, Ambulatory Care services, Renal Dialysis, Methadone Clinic and weekly Dental services.A range of allied health services operate from Wellington Health Service and a number of visiting services including Drug and Alcohol service and Psychiatry services also operate from the facility.Wellington is the second oldest town west of the Blue Mountains and is located less than half an hour from the regional hub of Dubbo and just over an hour from the picturesque town of Orange in the state's Central West.To apply, please address the following Selection CriteriaUnconditional General and/or Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and/or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine and/or Vocational Recognition as a General Practitioner.Minimum three (3) years post graduate clinical experience. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Adult Internal Medicine, Paediatrics or Rural Medicine an advantage.Sound knowledge of and commitment to clinical quality and patient safety, work health and safety, working within NSW Health Policy and current clinical practice guidelines.Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
