The role Our Winslow Maintenance division specialises in maintaining and servicing of all earthmoving machinery and stationary engines and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join our workshop located in Rocklea.
Reporting to the Workshop manager, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on heavy earth moving equipment and perform the following duties:
Ongoing repairs and maintenance of a variety of mobile Earthmoving equipment.Bucket repairs, shield repairs and general fabrication.Light to medium fabrication welding duties.Air gouging and MIG weldingEnsuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets; andCarry out field service work. ABOUT YOU Significant post-trade experience with a wide range of heavy earth moving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.A strong commitment to Health and safety and the environment, with a proactive approach to housekeeping.Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification.Current HR Driver's License, Working at Heights and High-Risk Licenses (Forklift, Vehicle loading crane) are highly regarded.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution focus; andA keen eye for detail, presentation, and craftsmanship.General Construction Induction (White Card) WHAT WE OFFER Career development and growth opportunitiesJob security with a large pipeline of workA supportive and dynamic team environmentA workplace that takes responsibility and accountability for the care and protection of peers, the business, the communities in which we operate, and the environment.HOW TO APPLY To apply for this great opportunity please click the apply button.
