The Department of Justice is now seeking expressions of interest from individuals across all regions of Tasmania who wish to be considered for registration as an approved Witness Intermediary on the Intermediaries Panel for sessional work.
The Tasmanian Witness Intermediary Scheme provides an exciting opportunity for appropriately qualified professionals to utilise their skills in the criminal justice system, both at the police and court stages, and to develop their career and knowledge within this field.
Our panel currently consists of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and Mental Health Nurses.We are writing to advise you that expressions of interest for this role are now live, and we would like to encourage you or your staff to visit: Expressions of interest | Department of Justice.
We ask that you share this link with any suitably experienced clinicians working within your organisation.
A series of information sessions will be held online during the EOI period.
The first of these is on the 16th of December at 5:15 pm, and we invite interested individuals to contact ****** to register for these sessions.
The next session is on Thursday, 9th January 2025, at 1:00 pm.
Applicants are very much encouraged to attend the online sessions, which will provide further information about the role and will include a question and answer format.
